The Viscom Talks programme will tell the evolution of visual languages turning into a new era manifesto to draw future scenarios. A true creative site where the main protagonists will be the diverse visual communication sectors: a polyfunctional idea factory aimed at bringing out creativity and promoting expertise and technical skills in eye-catching applications across the three vibrant days of the show.

Viscom Italia will put a spotlight on solutions, materials, products, technologies, all “dynamic” elements that communicate energy to the audience: from sign/sign making to promotional graphics and for POS, interior design and digital printing onto furniture, from fabric and on-trend items printing to digital signage solutions and interactive multimedia services. This appointment is to generate new ideas, put on display innovative products, able to increase consumer spending, and drive consumption.

The event could not do without the prize-winning competition to reward the best shop displays that may offer a unique customer shopping experience at the point of sale. In line with the evolution of the concept store, Viscom Italia continues to promote the flow of new ideas, for a high impact sales strategy in the large-scale distribution and retail trade, with the international contest DIVA Display Italia Viscom Awards. The competition will focus on the importance of design and materials innovations, product display and customer interaction. The jury including trendsetters and marketing experts will assign the DIVA 2017 award to the best display solutions.

Elementaria will be back again this year. The event is at highlighting new and emerging business models for raw materials, shop fitting, and brand communication. Elementaria will showcase a variety of prototype projects delivered by talented designers who have worked side by side with companies specialized in turning raw materials to create something quite extraordinary and unexpected.

VISUAL SOCIAL! The audience’s needs have always mattered to Viscom Italia, so it has built a social media presence to inform, engage, and interact directly with its fans/users. After having reached 8,810 likes on Facebook in six years, Viscom Italia intends to expand its online presence via LinkedIn and Instagram where users will have the chance to know what happens live at the show. Before the customary Milanese appointment, Viscom Italia will organise Viscom Regional roadshow.
