Milan 26th July 2017. Let the countdown for Viscom Italia begin and wow its audience once again. Bolstered by the success of the previous edition, which has registered over 400 exhibitors and more than 18,400 participants from 60 countries, the leading International exhibition on visual communication is getting ready to turn the spotlight on the world of creativity. From 12 to 14 October 2017, the top companies and professionals in the visual communication industry will meet face to face in Milan, to create new business opportunities and take inspiration from a magical and engaging atmosphere.

Advertising, graphics, design, architecture, retail, fashion, brand industry: what are the boundaries that can be explored applying new state-of-the-art digital techniques? DIVA Display Italia Viscom Awards is the world’s most important contest that aims to reward creativity and innovation in point of sale display solutions. Designers and manufacturers of Point of Sale materials, creative agencies will be running the competition for the best-in-class display in the following categories: durable and non-durable display solutions, digital signage devices, packaging, vending, shop fitting.
The public along with a panel of communication pundits will vote for their favourites and declare the DIVA 2017 winners!

ELEMENTARIA: The beauty of raw materials

The event Elementaria aims to highlight high-level design prototypes, and offer a full panorama of the most creative display solutions for stores that this year will be devoted to the “Bellessere” world (the Beauty world). Internationally renowned artists, talented designers, and raw materials manufacturers come together to create unique display projects forging trends that will shape tomorrow’s retail industry and leading brands in the sector. Viscom Italia will house a dedicated gallery space to promote raw
materials as well as prototypes on display in special areas. This is a unique opportunity to see the various works by Cristian Visentin, Gianluigi Landoni (Altrodesign), Giorgio Gurioli, Marco Maggioni, Massimo Farinatti, Tomoko Nagao (Deodato Arte). MOSTRA: Maurizio Milani Graphic Design. From brand mark to signage
Viscom Italia presents the most notable works by the graphic designer Maurizio Milani. Born in Milan, Milani has many years of valuable experience, working as an image, branding, and wayfinding consultant with several businesses at international level. The exhibition will provide an overview of the most  important works from creating brand marks such as Enimont, Italtel, Mezzaroma, Magneti Marelli, Anthilia, passing through the signage for the largest Milanese hospitals including IEO, Policlinico and Niguarda. A pragmatic, versatile creativity between sign and third dimension.
