Immediately finding the right business partners – at the most recent PSI, it worked out more than 400 times thanks to the convenient online matchmaking tool. Following its successful introduction in 2016, the tool will be deployed for the second time at PSI in Düsseldorf from 10 to 12 January 2017. With a month still to go before the start of the trade show, some 500 requests for exhibitor-visitor meetings have already been submitted.
The new online platform serves to perfectly match exhibitors and trade visitors – before the show even starts! “Our aim is to make B2B contacting as easy and efficient as possible”, says PSI Event Director Silke Frank. “It’s important for trade visitors to find contacts fast and set up meetings in a straightforward way.” The matchmaking tool delivers on that front by offering options to filter participants by country or topic. What’s more, it can be used to set up fixed appointments to meet at the show.
PSI Matchmaking: How does it work exactly?
The online platform has already been online since mid-November 2016. Exhibitors and registered trade visitors can register free of charge and, with just a few clicks, create their own profiles. Once that’s done, they can browse the profiles of other participants and send enquiries directly to contacts of interest. If both sides agree, an appointment can be set up – either at the exhibitor’s stand or in the Competence Area in Hall 9. Participants can save and print their personal schedules ahead of the show. With that, the online matchmaking tool ensures effective time management for show exhibitors and visitors alike.
