The leading event in the world of visual communication will boast a renewed image to celebrate creativity, business and knowledge.

Live shows, talks, and awards make of the exhibition the ideal stage for presenting new applications and cutting edge creative trends that everyone will be talking about, in the attempt to define the future of printing & graphics, design and industry sectors.

The much awaited 27th edition of Viscom Italia is just around the corner, the leading International Exhibition on Visual Communication, to be held from 15-17 October 2015 at Fieramilano. A groundbreaking event and an outstanding point of reference to give rise to new business perspectives in an undiscovered new revamped atmosphere.

More than 17,000 professionals from every corner of the world are expected to attend the Milanese yearly appointment, an event that grasps and tells this ever-evolving world of visual communication.

Reed Exhibitions Italia, working relentlessly behind the scenes of the exhibition, will feature a new floorplan to ensure a continuous flow of visitors. Viscom Italia will be located in Hall 8/12, close to the underground and will have a totally new layout, facilitating and enhancing the visitor experience, which provides a new stimulus to creative and emotional impulse, as well as a rounded involvement.

Viscom Italia is an international platform for business growth, thanks to an unprecedented exhibitor booking request in the last few months, with an 18% increase in the exhibition space, and a 9% exhibitor attendance rise (new companies) to the present day. It is an international showcase that offers a 360° overview on a rapidly growing market, and promotes the most advanced technologies and latest applications for large format digital printing, sign, sign making, screen printing, pad printing, textile promotion, embroidery, engraving, milling, laser, digital Signage, labelling, packaging, P.O.P, and services for events.

Viscom Talks: training and education at the heart of Viscom Italia to build a strong future for the sector

Also in the limelight will be the new edition of Viscom Talks – held under the scientific coordination of MIP Politecnico di Milano, an exclusive opportunity for learning, attending a refresher course as well as delving into the hot topics currently in the market. Technicians, top managers and communication pundits gather to share their know-how while reflecting on technology potential, offering a comprehensive overview of the current economic situation and future market trends, helping companies to network, creating new business opportunities and opening new growth paths.

An intense event format, providing immersive experiences through performance and interactive modes of participation focused on several topics – from exploring new business models that integrate interior decoration, typographic culture, retail, sustainability and social networks, to customisation techniques that meet consumer’s needs in terms of product and brand. And last but not least, how the new frontiers in marketing will impact on POP solutions or offer creative ideas, thanks to digital printing.

The entire programme is complemented by providing guidelines to drive sales and customers relations and presenting innovative materials that open up new ways to design, architecture and entertainment industries.

Viscom Live: the first museum dedicated to visual communication

Bolstered by the success of the last edition, Viscom Italia once again presents Viscom Live, a live studio that will stage the first museum totally dedicated to visual communication solutions. The museum is the most creative place gathering all visual communication technologies.

During the three-day event, visitors will have the opportunity to unveil the countless applications on display and find out how to personalise t-shirts, cell phone covers, iPads, key rings, and many other products through the latest technologies at the ViscomShop.

The audience will test customisation potentials and wide range of facing materials on a multitude of products under the watchful eye of skilled wrappers and win the second Master Viscom title. The technical sponsors of Viscom Live are 3M Italia, Bompan, Hewlett-Packard Italiana, and Shock Line.

Viscom Awards: vote for your favourite diva

D.I.V.A. (Display Italia Viscom Award), is back for its 5th edition, an international prize-winning competition dedicated to the world of POP. Visit the show and vote for your favorites among the best display solutions for the point of sale made by P.O.P. material manufacturers, design studios, creative agencies and client companies for five categories – Durable and non Durable Display Solutions, Digital Signage Devices, Packaging, Retail Design, Shop Fitting.

Furthermore, a new event will take place within the Viscom Awards area, Elementaria aimed at highlighting new business models in raw materials, as well as tools for store display solutions and brand communication. Elementaria will showcase a variety of prototype projects delivered by talented designers who worked side by side with companies specialized in turning raw materials to create something quite extraordinary and unexpected. During its first edition, particular focus will be put on polymer plates.
