23 Feb 2015

The organisation is shifting up into top gear for the eagerly-awaited 27th edition of Viscom Italia, enlivening the halls of Fiera Milano from 15-17 October 2015; a further evolution under the banner of tradition and innovation which will characterise the next Milanese event, a European reference point for the visual communication market.

Milan is regarded as the world design and fashion capital. In 2015 the city will be under the global spotlight with the arrival of Expo 2015, and it will host Viscom Italia an even more international event to enhance the uniqueness and inimitability of Italy’s cultural heritage, as a focal point for a new way of seeing, and enjoying the most unique ideas, ground-breaking solutions, and all which is new in visual communication. An exhibition that shapes up to better meet the needs and expectations of businesses concerned, confirming once again, its leadership as an international event not to be missed by all industry professionals.

Viscom Italia has launched its latest communications campaign with a new creative identity where clear and soft lines intersect and contaminate each other as well as technologies, applications and personalisation techniques of visual communication in order to explore new markets, tackle new business challenges, and devise innovative business models across the three vibrant days of the show.

Bolstered by the success of the previous edition – which has registered over 17,000 visitors from 55 countries, with 311 international brands, with a 20% increase of foreign exhibitors – Viscom Italia hits a high note with the number of exhibitors who have already signed up to the show. Viscom Italia acts as an international platform for business growth, getting ready to host exhibitors and visitors with a memorable and unprecedented event.

Paola Sarco Exhibition Manager, Viscom Italia comments: “Delivering ideas, experiences and a worldwide network of qualified contacts tailored to our exhibitors’ business needs is at the heart of what we are. We support the entrepreneurial forces that drive the growth of visual communication industry by creating new strategies and innovative business models. We are putting on an exhibition that will be not only a steadily changing laboratory aimed at bringing out creativity, promoting technical skills and cultivating relationships, but also an international platform for exchange and professional development that links opportunities for training and group events to set the future trends of visual communication.

Viscom Italia is a journey, not just an event, where professional and relationship-centred approaches make a difference. Once again, the aim of the exhibition is to put in the spotlight and improve the visibility of the biggest players in the field of: large format digital printing, sign, sign making, screen printing, pad printing, textile promotion, embroidery, engraving, milling, laser, digital signage, labelling, packaging, P.O.P., event services.
Viscom stands out as a more than a trade fair, but a live show featuring a packed programme of collateral exciting events, a crucial tool for companies to promote their business, sharing culture, training and entertainment to grow together.

After last year's success, Viscom Talks - the extensive schedule of conferences - is back. A dissemination platform where innovators, top managers, professionals, and communication pundits gather to share their know-how while reflecting on innovative technologies, helping companies to network, and exploring new business models to generate added value to the visual communication industry.

The new Viscom Live, a live lab will stage the latest trends in visual communication. During the event visitors will have the opportunity to probe and see with their own eyes the countless applications and solutions on display highlighting creativity, technical expertise, personalisation techniques and options. A true creative hub to educate and inspire young professionals helping them to understand and experiment the unlimited possibilities offered by visual communications in the field of interior decoration, fashion and industry.

Registrations are now open for the 5th International contest DIVA of the Year, organised in bundle with Display Italia. Creativity, design and new technologies are the hot diktats of next display solutions for the point of sale. Display solutions designed by P.O.P. material manufacturers, design studios, creative agencies and client companies will enter the award in the following categories: durable and non-durable display solutions, digital signage, packaging, retail design and shop fitting devices.

VISCOM ON THE ROAD – Before the customary Milanese appointment Viscom Italia will organise Viscom Regional, a roadshow to tackle the latest hot topics of visual communications in the South and Centre of Italy. The itinerant format makes a comeback in Bari on 10-11 April 2015, at UNA Hotel Regina. A strategic appointment that gathers exhibition areas, seminars and live laboratories together, to open up new business opportunities, to build and strengthen brand awareness for companies, and acquire new customers.
